We “Olympian” believe Olympus DSLRs produce the best color pictures … but many of us worried about the change of the image sensor from Kodak to Panasonic. My E-1 and E-300 use Kodak sensor and E-510 uses Panasonic sensor. So here is a picture with the new toy E-510 … is the color OK ?
I finally found one more good benefit of getting old – that is, you can no longer hold your camera steadily and you can buy a new camera with build-in image stabilization (IS). So … after the Panasonic FX-30, I bought the first Olympus DSLR that comes with IS – Olympus E-510.
Being a Olympus fans, it’s the third DSLR in my arsenal, after the legendary E-1 and E-300. We were all told before that E-1 and E-300 are compact DSLRs, but E-510 is definitely smaller – incredibly small with so many features inside it. See the following beauty E-510 and the beast 50-200 zoom …

There was a news on TV couple of days ago concerning the museums in our city. Basically, it was reported that the local government wants to pass the responsibility of running museums to the private sector; such that they can draw in more citizens to visit the various attractions. One of the new ideas is to run cocktail parties in the museums.
Geez … exactly 10 years ago this week, I was in one museum cocktail party in Prague … exchanging business cards with some Eastern Europe computer software companies. You see, our city has not developed a bit in art scene for the whole 10 years, and still we keep kidding ourselves that we are in the best time of recent 20 years. Looks like we all have to pray …
And when talking about Prague, of course every one shall visit the old Town Square and the Charles Bridge Tower.
Many friends told me Thailand is one of the best places to get retired … I am not convinced until I have a private lunch in this hotel (yes, there was no other guests in the whole beach-side hotel).
