People told me before Personal Computer could not do something like their mini-computers.
People told me before Internet could not transport information like their Client / Server network.
People told me before Cloud Computing could not be as secure as their own data centers.
People told me before NoSQL or DLT could not manage data like their own RDBMS.
They didn’t tell me though, they actually needed new technologies to solve new problems.
You know what, it took me a long time to explain what was …
Guess I did a poor job in explaining these technologies as not many were convinced.
Still … I’m a big believer of “The greatest ignorance is to reject something you know nothing about.”
The day you know passphrase is more secure than password.
Someone : “What’s the WiFi password?”

You may not be a big fans of Uber and it’s co-founder Travis Kalanick. However, I urge you to become a fans of the following quote, when you are (re)building your company’s products.
Build a superior product and someone will use it, pay for it, defend it, as well as become the greatest salesperson of it.
So you have a big infrastructure in your data center(s), and your team appreciates the benefits of running your business in the cloud – better agility, security governance, patch management and TCO.
And yet, you hesitate in moving forward … Trust us, nothing is more important than a missed opportunity. The opportunity to transform your business, the opportunity to minimize the cost of not doing it.
