I was amazed when I saw this advertisement along a subway walkway. After all these years, the Cloud Technology are still misunderstood by so many people (copywriters in this case ?) in this modern city.
May be I shall change the tagline to:
I.T. Infrastructure Have Moved To The Cloud.
I.T. Departments Have Moved To The Metaverse.

(Chinese: 千里之行，始於足下)
So in the world of technology, what is the very first step ?
May be a new online course. a subscription to a newsletter, a follow to a Podcast, a new book, a new YouTube video playlist, a new crypto wallet, or a new “Hello World” program of a new language …
Start your first step, or … just start looking.
When was the last time you joined a discussion and found that all have the same view … even before the discussion ?
When was the last time you ran a focus group and found that all participants suggested the same idea ?
When was the last time you found all members in the war room proposed the same solution to a critical problem ?
There are times we need to treat ourselves like a project or product, invest in ourselves not for profit, but just to learn.
There are times we need to treat our team members like projects or products, invest in them not for profit, but let them to learn.
There is always a gap …
Therefore it’s important to be an active listener and explain our works, goals, problems and solutions in simple words, preferably in their work languages.
