New York – Central Park

There are many sculptures inside and around the Central Park. I particularly like the “Sherman Monument” in the Grand Army Plaza (i.e. outside the entrance of the park). The monument was modeled after one of the best known American General William Sherman.

But somehow, what I like most is the “figure of peace” modeled in front of the General Sherman. Seems to me she’s outcrying “Peace !!”
