It’s really sad, a national symbol and treasure to Koreans around the world, Namdaemun was destroyed by a fire in last Sunday night. Namdaemun, South Korea’s oldest wooden structure, was built more than 600 years ago and stood at the center of Seoul, having served as a main gate into the capital for centuries.
